Katie Holmes adds bling to her winter look with $700 gold belt

Katie Holmes always has a styling trick up her sleeve.

On Thursday, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum celebrated her 46th birthday in style, stepping out in a chic outfit, as per usual.

For a low-key stroll around the city, the longtime New Yorker spiced up her otherwise pared-back cold-weather look with a gold belt from Maison Mayle.

Retailing for $695, the vintage-looking piece is crafted from gold-plated metal and features engraved coin details as well as a chain with leather.

She cinched the sumptuous piece over a polished black wool coat, adding a pair of barrel-legged jeans by Nili Lotan ($395).

She carried a roomy black leather tote and opted for coordinating ankle boots.

Lastly, Holmes bundled up with a black beanie, tying her brown hair into a braid.

For her birthday, Holmes got sentimental on Instagram, sharing a gift from her 18-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise.

“I am so grateful for all of my blessings 💕 especially my daughter 🌷,” Holmes wrote next to a bouquet of purple roses.

Though Suri, who Holmes shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise, is attending college at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, the teenager has frequently returned to New York these past few months.

In October, Suri returned to her hometown, presumably for the opening weekend of her mom’s big debut in “Our Town” on Broadway.

The mom and daughter duo are both style stars in their own rights — and even share clothes on occassion.

“Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy,” Holmes said in an interview ahead of Suri’s freshman year.

“I remember being this age, this time of beginnings,” she continued. “It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.”
