The song from Swift’s “1989” album was long-rumored to be about her beef with Perry.
Their feud unfolded when Swift, 34, claimed in a 2014 Rolling Stone interview that Perry, 39, had “basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour” by stealing her backup dancers, leading fans to believe the pop tune was aimed at the “Last Friday Night” singer.
Perry cryptically responded to the dig at the time by tweeting, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” referring to the blond bully in the 2004 movie “Mean Girls.”
