Jeff Bezos‘ aerospace company Blue Origin is sending an all-female crew to space on its next flight! Six women are set to take flight on the NS-31 mission, which will take place sometime this Spring. The names of the six women who will be aboard the vessel are pop star Katy Perry, CBS Mornings‘ Gayle King, Jeff‘s fiancee Lauren Sanchez, aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and producer Kerianne Flynn. Lauren , who is actually a pilot, “brought the mission together. She is honored to lead a team of explorers on a mission that will challenge their perspectives of Earth, empower them to share their own stories, and create lasting impact that will inspire generations to come.” Gayle added, “I don’t know how to explain being terrified and excited at the same time. It’s like how I felt about to deliver a baby.”
