Kazuchika Okada bravely bared his scars for the world to see, following Blood & Guts.

The AEW International Champion took part in one of the most brutal matches in AEW history this week. Okada was a part of The Elite’s team, as they battled Team AEW inside the double cages of Blood & Guts.

The match was insane. It included a chair shot to the skull, Max Caster’s mouth being filled with thumbtacks, and Anthony Bowens crashing off the cage through two tables.

Kazuchika Okada did have a confrontation with “Hangman” Adam Page during the match. The former AEW Champion chained Swerve Strickland to the outside of the cage. However, Hangman was forced by inside by Nick Jackson, before being confronted by Okada.

This looks likely to set up a match between the pair. It will possibly take place at Wembley Stadium, where AEW All In will take place later on next month.

While Jack Perry took the brunt of the violence, Kazuchika Okada suffered a horrendous injury during the Blood & Guts match.

The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion took to social media, jokingly showing off a small pin prick he suffered during the match. Kazuchika Okada posted a photo of his left hand, which showed a tiny cut on his middle finger. It was likely from one of the thumb tacks that were superkicked out of Max Caster‘s mouth.

He added the caption “Nakayubi”, which means “middle finger” in Japanese. The post was clearly a joke, and shows how he miraculously escaped one of the most brutal matches in AEW with barely a scrape.
