Not done yet? Retirement is one of the trickier subjects for any wrestler as you never know when they are officially going to hang up their boots. While you might see someone announce a date for their retirement, it an often be easier said than done to go through with it. That appears to be the situation again with an active wrestling legend, as he is backtracking his previous retirement announcement.

AEW’s Dustin Rhodes appeared on the Sports Guys Talking Wrestling podcast and was asked about his retirement. Rhodes, 54 years old, said that he was still “doing amazing” in his fifties and talked about how proud he was of his time in AEW. While Rhodes had previously said that he would be retiring within a year, he went on to say that he saw himself having “2-4 more years if his legs allow”. He also said that he was happy with producing if that is where he can help. Rhodes was in action this week, wrestling a match that will air Friday on Rampage.
