Keith Lee sends a message to his fans amid his ongoing absence from AEW.
Lee has not wrestled since the December 23 taping of AEW Collision. He was set to compete at AEW Worlds End, but he was pulled from the match. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) recently reported that Lee still had not been cleared to return to the ring.
In a tweet, Keith Lee addressed his fans and made it clear that he was not done. He said that the time would come.
“I certainly don’t see them all, but I have seen many. I must take the time to say thank you. And I must take the time to tell you…. we are not done. Hang in there, just like I am. Whatever it is…. the time will come. Let’s move forward. Oh. And don’t forget to go vote,” Lee wrote.
Lee, a former NXT Champion, signed with AEW in February 2022. He went on to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Swerve Strickland.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
