Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson both got their starts on American Idol and now they’re both leading daytime talk shows! The singers were both in attendance at the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday night (June 7) at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. Kelly and Jennifer were both nominated for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series while Kelly was also up for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host. Keep reading to find out more… Daytime Talk Series was one of the first categories of the night and Kelly won, marking her fourth win in the category. The winner of the Host category hasn’t been announced yet at the time of this post being published. Jennifer is already a Daytime Emmy winner and it’s one of the wins that helped her achieve EGOT status.
