Kelly Reilly Explains If 'Yellowstone' Could Be Renewed for Season 6, Reveals What Would Get Her to Sign On

For a long time, it was said that Yellowstone would be ending with the upcoming final episodes, airing this November.

Last month, a report emerged suggesting that the show could actually be renewed with stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, who portray Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler on the series, looking to take over as the show’s leads.

Now, Kelly is speaking out.

“There’s potentially another chapter,” Kelly told EW. “It’s being talked about now.”

She added. “Nothing is set in stone. But if Taylor [Sheridan, creator] wants to write it, I would want to do it. That’s it. Because he’s the one that’s written every single line I’ve ever said. She came from his imagination. But we’re both in agreement that there’s a shift that has to take place. Because you can’t keep telling the same story. This story is ending. Yellowstone as we know it is ending, but if there is more story to tell with some of the characters, it’s going to be a little different.”

There was talk that Kelly and Cole were in talks to join the new Yellowstone spinoff, but salary disputes were also reported.
