Kelsea Ballerini is set to host the 2024 CMT Music Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
Along with her solo hosting duties, Ballerini will also perform live during the award ceremony from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, April 7. The show will start at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and will be livestreamed on Paramount+.
Previously, Ballerini was at the helm of the 2021 and 2023 CMT Music Awards alongside Kane Brown. She hosted remotely for the 2022 show.
Nominations, performers and presenters for the award show will be announced in the coming weeks.
Margaret Comeaux (CMT), John Hamlin (Switched On Entertainment), Leslie Fram (CMT) and Jason Owen (Sandbox Entertainment) are executive producers; Jackie Barba and Heather D. Graffagnino are executives in charge of production; Taryn Hurd is talent producer.

Last year’s CMT Music Awards saw Shania Twain honored with the CMT Equal Play Award, which recognizes artists who advocate for underrepresented voices in country music. Jennifer Nettles and Linda Martell have previously been honored with this award.
Jelly Roll was the big winner of the 2023 edition, taking Male Video of the Year for “Son of a Sinner,” Male Breakthrough Video of the Year, and the CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year.
Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown won Video of the Year for “Thank God” in the fan-voted award show. Lainey Wilson took the Female Video of the Year for “Heart Like a Truck.”
