Kenny Omega‘s AEW in-ring return has been announced for AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 15th.
Omega had been sidelined since December 2023 due to diverticulitis. He underwent surgery, and he did not wrestle again until NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 6th, where he beat Gabe Kidd. Omega appeared at AEW Worlds End, and he made his return to AEW Dynamite on January 8th. There, the Don Callis Family attacked him, and Will Ospreay made the save.
AEW then announced that Kenny Omega will face Brian Cage at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 15th. This will be his first match in an AEW ring since the AEW Collision taping on December 5th, 2023.
