Kevin Kelly comments on the lawsuit and says he looks forward to what comes next.

Former AEW commentator Kevin Kelly and The Tate Twins have filed a lawsuit against AEW following their respective terminations. Kelly is seeking monetary damages, both from AEW and Riccaboni, as he claimed that AEW breached his contract, Riccaboni was libelous after he said that Kelly was part of QAnon, and he has since struggled to find work.

With the lawsuit, Kelly and The Tate Twins also aim to void the arbitration clause of the talent contracts they were under in AEW, and they want the court to certify “a class-action suit against AEW over claims the company is misclassifying its wrestling talent as independent contractors, rather than employees.”

AEW commentator Jim Ross commented on the lawsuit and said he thought it was “frivolous” in nature.

Kevin Kelly then took to Twitter and issued a statement on the lawsuit. He said there were lots of comments, and they would see what happened. Kelly wrote that he had hoped to settle this fairly and quietly with AEW, but they left him with no choice. He also responded to Jim Ross and said that it was not “frivolous” in the least.

Lots of comments on our lawsuit and we will see what happens. I had hoped to settle this fairly and quietly with AEW but they left us no choice. And to my friend JR, this is not "frivolous" in the least. We look forward to what comes next. Thank you all very much.
