Kevin Nash clears the air and explains why he will not be attending Sting’s last match at AEW Revolution.
Last week, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash stated that he turned down Sting’s invitation to his last match due to his positioning with WWE. His comments led to some speculation that he was on WWE’s payroll.
Speaking on Kliq This, Kevin Nash clarified and noted that he never said he was on WWE’s payroll.
“No, I never said that. What I said was that I’m a WWE guy,” Kevin Nash said. “I can’t have a picture of me in the crowd and underneath it say, ‘Is All Elite.’ I just can’t have that. It just doesn’t work for…. One of my closest f*cking friends is Paul Levesque. As much as I love Steve [Sting], and I know he’ll only have one last match, I will watch it, we will talk about it. I just won’t…I haven’t been to a WrestleMania, a RAW, a SmackDown, or any of the other pay-per-views.
“I haven’t been to any events. I don’t want to go to any place and be around a bunch of people, let alone wrestling people. I just don’t want to do it. I’m a hermit, and that’s it. Going to the gym the other day, the place was packed, I just walked right out. I said I’ll go someplace else.”
