Kevin Nash has explained why he won’t ever wrestle again.
The WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t wrestled since 2018, where he won a gauntlet match in BTW to become their heavyweight champion. His last appearance in a WWE ring was at the 2014 Royal Rumble, so it appeared Kevin Nash’s wrestling career is long finished at the age of 65.
He hasn’t had a full-time run in the company since his time in TNA. Kevin Nash had an iconic career, but nobody is exactly clamoring for one last run anymore.
Speaking on the Kliq THIS podcast, Kevin Nash recalled a conversation between him and his wife where they discussed if he would ever wrestle again. The former WWE and WCW Champion revealed that he would go back to the WWE if Triple H needed him for some kind of project. However, he rejected any idea of actually getting in the ring and wrestling again.
Nash knows he won’t step in the ring again
“My wife looked over at me at one point, and she goes, ‘Would you ever go back?’ I said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘That’s a different part of my life. I’ll go back and see Paul, and if Paul needed me for something, I’d do it.’ I said, ‘If they had a project or something that I found entertaining or something I’d want to do, I’d do it.’ She said, ‘But not in the ring?’ I said, ‘fuck no.’
Then I laughed and said, ‘Babe, you know I’m 65, right?’ She said, ‘Yeah.’ And then I said to her, ‘You know, all that shit that Logan Paul said in his heel rebuttal? I think to myself, I never really thought about it, but he actually took the time to say, “You’re 65 years old!” Somebody thinks you’re going to come in and fight for the US title?'”
