Kevin Nash thinks Triple H sees something special in Cody Rhodes.

Since returning to the WWE at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes has been pushed as a huge star. Under Triple H, the American Nightmare has won two Royal Rumble matches and main evented WrestleMania two years in a row.

This was a far cry from his booking under Vince McMahon. Before he left the company in 2016, Cody Rhodes was relegated to lower card matches. In addition, he was portraying the “Stardust” gimmick, a disappointing copy of his brother’s “Goldust” gimmick.

The difference in the booking of Cody Rhodes between Vince McMahon and Triple H has been stark. Kevin Nash thinks that this is because of something Triple H sees in Cody Rhodes that he doesn’t in other wrestlers.

Kevin Nash spoke about this topic on the Kliq This podcast. He told his co-host Sean Oliver that Triple H sees Cody Rhodes as a “grinder”, just as he and the Kliq had been all those years ago.

Nash also mentioned how “unbelievable” matches between Rhodes and X-Pac would have been.

“I think Paul’s [Triple H] affection and loyalty to Cody is because Cody’s a grinder.” Kevin Nash said. “He’s still that. If Cody was working as a Kid [Sean Waltman] on our card… Cody would work 312 days across from Sean. Those would have been unbelievable to watch.”

Kevin Nash: Logan Paul Is Not One Of The Boys

One person Kevin Nash was less than complimentary about is Logan Paul.

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash shared thoughts on Hulk Hogan’s comments about Logan Paul.

“Did you see Hogan with Logan Paul?” Kevin Nash said. “Hulk, he said, ‘The business is a shoot.’ Logan Paul goes, ‘I don’t know.’ He says, ‘You know what a shoot is, right?’ I saw it on Instagram, so it cut off. So I didn’t get to see if they were ribbing him or what. [Paul] is not one of the boys. Where would he learn that shit? Where’s he going up and down the road talking about our jargon? In the building? Everybody’s in their motorcoach.

“There’s no interaction, there’s no socialization. You don’t become one of the boys just because you’re around them. That motherf*cker, from what I heard, he’s making, like five million bucks for f*cking limited [dates], and those other motherf*ckers are out there making house shows? F*ck you. That’s from the boys. F*ck you. I don’t give a f*ck how many people are following you. If it said you have 24 million road scholars following you, man, I would be, ‘Dude, you are Jesus.’ You got a bunch of idiots.”
