Kevin Owens hasn’t given up on stepping into the ring with one of his dream WrestleMania opponents, Shawn Michaels.

SmackDown Superstar Kevin Owens recently appeared on Fanatics Live. During the episode, Owens revealed that he reaches out to Shawn Michaels every year in hopes of convincing him to face him at the Showcase of the Immortals.

“I keep bothering Shawn Michaels every year to come back. He just won’t,” Kevin Owens said. “He’s so nice about it every year. This year, I texted him; he didn’t answer me for two months, and then when he answered me, it was to say, ‘Well, I know I’m a little late, but I just had shoulder surgery, so I don’t think it’s happening.’ You could’ve said no two months ago. You didn’t have to get cut for it.” [H/T: Fightful]

KO is scheduled to take on Logan Paul and Randy Orton at WrestleMania XL next weekend in a triple threat match for the United States Championship.
