Kevin Owens reportedly worked through an injury at WWE Royal Rumble.
At the premium live event on January 27, Owens challenged Logan Paul for the WWE United States Championship. Paul won the match via disqualification, so he retained the gold.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Kevin Owens worked the match with a fractured foot. Per Meltzer, the injury occurred during Owens’ match against Santos Escobar on the January 5 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Before Saturday’s show, Owens had not wrestled since he injured his foot. However, he continued to appear on television, and he got physical during segments with Logan Paul.
As of this writing, there is no word on whether Owens will miss any time due to the injury. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
Logan Paul is set to appear on the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, and Owens has already expressed his interest in a rematch.
