Khalid decided to put some social media users in check as he set the record straight about his sexuality. On Friday, Nov. 22, the ‘Talk’ singer hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to give his fans a personal update after a former partner decided to put him on blast online.

Khalid Gets Real About His Sexuality

Khalid shut down the rumors and drama with a post on X, dropping a rainbow emoji with three exclamation points and adding, “there yall go. next topic please lol” The songwriter then followed up with another post saying, “I got outted and the world still continues to turn. Let’s get this straight (lmao) I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality it ain’t nobodies business! But I am okay with me love yall.”

Khalid’s posts on X seemed to appear after a man by the name of Hugo D Almonte started throwing shade at a singer on Friday night.

“I was dating this dumb ass singer he’s ugly as f*** but he tried to set me up and lie and say I broke into his house because I broke up with him like why would I go to your house and do all that if I broke up with you dumb a**!” Hugo posted on X.

Hugo then dropped a selfie with Khalid, making it clear to fans and social media that Khalid was the singer he was subbing.

“B***h a** lied and said that I broke into his house because I didn’t want him,” he wrote alongside the photo.

Khalid Reacts To Previous Partner’s Statements

After Hugo D Almonte spilled the tea about his past with Khalid, X users went wild, which led the ‘Location’ musician to respond. When user @Heischila wrote, “Wait, hope Mr. Khalid isn’t GEHHH!” he replied, “I am! And that’s okay!”
