The cast of Adam Sandler‘s Happy Gilmore 2 is continuing to grow! The long-awaited sequel to the 1996 classic golf movie was announced in May. Since then, Travis Kelce has been confirmed to make a cameo, and Bad Bunny landed a role in the cast. On Friday (October 25), it was revealed that Kid Cudi was also appearing in the movie. The outlet noted that franchise stars Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald were also reprising their roles from the original. Kid Cudi confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Ive been wanting to talk about this for a minute!!! This is so f-ckin HUGE. Its been a long time dream of mine to work w Adam, hes my favorite, and his movies and comedy made up my childhood. Another dream come true. BLESSED!! Get ready, this ones gonna be EPIC.” Little is known about the sequel, which is being developed by Netflix. It will be directed by Kyle Mewacheck, and Adam is working on the script with Tim Herlihy.
