Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel recently put right-back Trippier top of the club's January shopping list.

Newcastle are unlikely to entertain a loan deal, but could be tempted by a permanent sale at the right price.
The Magpies are keen to bolster their finances amid profit and sustainability concerns.
Trippier joined Newcastle in January 2022 in a £12million deal from La Liga side Atletico Madrid and was a key figure in the Toon Army's late-season winning run to steer them clear of relegation.
Since then, the 33-year-old has become a first team regular and and has consistently been named as captain in the absence of Jamaal Lascelles.
But after announcing losses of £73.4million in their latest financial results, CEO Darren Eales has suggested that the club may look to sell players in order to balance the books.
Should a move to Bayern come off, Trippier would be reunited with two familiar faces in Harry Kane and Eric Dier.
Both are players he knows well due to their time playing together for both Tottenham and England, with Kane considered a long-time friend.
