Gail Kim is one of the top women’s wrestling in the business. Kim is not a full-time wrestler anymore, but she still has a regular role with TNA Wrestling as an agent.

Killer Kelly is another wrestler who has competed for several multiple wrestling promotions including WWE. The young star also captured the IMPACT Wrestling Knockout’s World Tag Team Champion once in her career. Recently, Killer Kelly opened up about her experience in sharing the ring with Gail Kim during an interview with Lucha Libre Online. During the interview, she shared how surreal it was for her to compete against Gail Kim, a wrestler she grew up watching.

“It’s still a little bit surreal for me. I’ve been working with Gail [Kim] for over a year, almost two years. And it’s still crazy to me… That I’m like, ‘Oh, I work with Gail Kim. I work with that same person that I watch on WWE TV. And TNA. This is crazy. This is like my idol and I work with her.’ So every now and then, I like… I pinch myself. I’m like ‘Oh God! I am actually talking with Gail Kim. This is crazy,’” Killer Kelly explained.

“So it’s an honor to work with her and so many other people. We are also very fortunate to work with Lance Storm. His wrestling mind is just mind-boggling. I can’t believe that I work with him especially because Lance trained my trainer. So I am here because of Lance Storm. So that whole thing is just surreal how everything worked out,” Killer Kelly added.

A magical ride

TNA producer Gail Kim recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about some of the things that fans can expect to see from TNA Wrestling moving forward. Ever since TNA Wrestling began operating under the direction of Scott D’Amore, Kim believes the product has delivered compelling content in a multitude of ways.

Looking back on their most recent PPV, Hard To Kill, Kim said she was very emotional about it.

“To my husband, the next day, I started getting emotional about [Hard To Kill]. He always makes fun of me because I never cried at our wedding. He goes, ‘You cry for wrestling, and you didn’t even cry at our own wedding.’ And so the next day I talked to him and he goes, ‘So, it went well? And I said, ‘Yeah,’ and I just started almost like getting emotional. I said, ‘Okay, why am I feeling like this the next morning in the gym working out?’”

“I’m just so excited for the future and what’s to come,” Kim said. “The momentum has been great. We’ve injected new, fresh talent into our company that I think everyone is excited for, from fans to our own roster, our company, I think they’re going to have a magical ride.”
