We have our first look at the third Knives Out film, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery! The image – which was just released by Netflix – reveals Daniel Craig back in character as Detective Benoit Blanc. Netflix also confirmed that filming is set to begin today for the new mystery in the franchise. Keep reading to find out more… The cast also includes Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church. Director Rian Johnson confirmed a few pieces of info that fans might be excited to hear! Firstly, if you saw Glass Onion, the second Knives Out film, you might remember a moment touting Jeremy Renner‘s “Renning Hot” habanero chili pepper sauce in the film. Well, fans wondered if Jeremy‘s addition to the cast meant that he would be playing himself as a hot sauce magnet. “Jeremy’s a great actor who I’ve wanted to work with for a long time,” Rian told Netflix’s Tudum. “I was very relieved he thought the hot sauce thing was funny! He’s playing a proper part in this one, we’ll keep the sauce off screen. Maybe we’ll sneak a few bottles onto the catering table.” About the cast, he added, “We’ve been very lucky with each of these movies to have gathered some of my favorite actors on the planet, and that’s absolutely the case here. They’re also all lovely folks who get along, which is the dinner party aspect of it.
