Kodak Black says he’s feeling like a new man after heavily reducing his Percocet usage.
The rapper has struggled with addiction for years, but after recently being released from jail, he says he’s feeling good.
“I remember a point of my life when I was chewing a lot of percs. Bro, I’m proud of myself. I never been this happy in my life. I don’t know where this came from [or] what the f-ck is going on,” Yak told his fans.
“I ain’t even gone say I’m anti-Perc — like I never took a Perc since I been home but bro my dosage so low that I can’t believe it myself.”
Yak faced backlash in February after he was released from Broward County main jail and was videotaped throwing rocks at reporters.
Some fans believed Yak was high at the time.
“I’m sure the mainstream won’t carry it. @tmz_tv will probably only run something negative. But we know how @kodakblack moves and what he’s been doing since day one. It’s a shame when people only want negativity on someone,” his attorney, Bradford Cohen wrote on Instagram at the time.
