Kolo Muani, the indelible stain?

In the offensive sector of PSG, summer recruits Bradley Barcola and Gonçalo Ramos are currently giving satisfaction. Only Randal Kolo Muani still fails to do well.

During the late match of the 29th day of Ligue 1, between FC Lorient and Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique chose to start Gonçalo Ramos to accompany Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé within his offensive trident.

Sitting on the substitutes’ bench at kick-off, Randal Kolo Muani came on shortly after the hour mark, in place of the Portuguese center forward. Once again, the former FC Nantes player lacked spontaneity and technical precision, failing to find the net.

Total lack of confidence

The attitude of the native of Bondy undoubtedly reflects his current state of mind. “Everything in his behavior oozes lack of confidence, even discouragement. This is something that can turn around quickly. What I like is that he doesn’t hide and that he makes the effort.” wrote journalist Pierre Ménès on his X account (formerly Twitter).

For the moment, the transfer of Randal Kolo Muani to PSG looks like a real flop. Bought for 95 million euros (bonus included) by the capital club in the last minutes of the summer transfer window, he is not really satisfactory. Since his arrival at the end of last August, “RKM” has scored nine goals with PSG, in all competitions.
