Konda Surekha APOLOGISES to Samantha for controversial statement regarding her divorce from Naga Chaitanya divorce

Telangana minister Konda Surekha created quite an uproar with her recent controversial statement regarding Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce. For the unversed, the politician recently claimed that Bharat Raksha Samithi (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao (KTR) was the cause of Sam and Chay’s divorce. Following severe backlash from fans, politicians and actors, Surekha has now retracted her statement.

Konda Surekha took to her X (formerly Twitter) account earlier today and posted a statement retracting her statement about Samantha. She wrote in Telugu, “My intention was only to point out how a leader is belittling towards woman but not to hurt your sentiments, Samantha. The way you have grown exponentially by yourself is something I admire and aspire to. If you or your fans have been hurt by my words, I unconditionally retract them. Please do not take it otherwise.”
