Konosuke Takeshita will defend the AEW International Championship at two upcoming NJPW events.
NJPW announced that Konosuke Takeshita will defend the AEW International Championship at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed on November 8. He will also put the title on the line at NJPW Strong Style Evolved on December 15. As of this writing, there is no word on who Takeshita will defend the title against.
Takeshita won the gold by beating Will Ospreay and Ricochet at AEW WrestleDream on October 12. He defended the gold against Josh Alexander at Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Forged in Excellence on October 20. He previously competed in the NJPW G1 Climax 34.
