Konosuke Takeshita vs Ricochet has been officially added to the AEW Full Gear 2024 card.
The feud between the pair has been brewing for some months. Takeshita attacked Will Ospreay and Ricochet after their match on AEW Dynamite earlier this year, before beating them both in a three-way match at WrestleDream.
After weeks of scrapping, the pair look set to settle their differences in the ring.
Tony Khan officially announced the match for AEW Full Gear on Twitter. He revealed that Konosuke Takeshita vs Ricochet would happen on Saturday, with Takeshita’s AEW International Championship on the line in the long-anticipated match.
“Saturday 11/23 Newark, NJ #AEWFullGear ppv AEW International Title Match @Takesoup vs @KingRicochet With the rivalry running red hot for weeks on @AEWonTV , the International Title will be at stake in the fight that the AEW fans want to see: Konosuke Takeshita vs Ricochet THIS SATURDAY!”
Konosuke Takeshita vs Ricochet seemingly rounds out the AEW Full Gear 2024 card, which includes matches like Jon Moxley vs Orange Cassidy, Will Ospreay vs Kyle Fletcher and MJF vs Roderick Strong.
It also includes Costco Guy AJ facing QT Marshall on the pre show.
