On the June 8 episode of AEW Collision, the first two women were confirmed for the upcoming Owen Hart Foundation Cup. The tournament is the third annual with the winner also set to receive a championship match. Both Kris Statlander and last year’s winner Willow Nightingale have been confirmed.

Statlander had a match where she defeated Robyn Renegade. Statlander has a new theme and post match Stokely Hathaway confirmed Kris’ involvement in the tournament. Nightingale confirmed she will be entering moments later.
