Kriti Sanon reveals being in tears after Adipurush box office failure; says, “The goal is never to hurt anyone’s feelings”

Adipursh movie didn’t fare well at the box office but apart from that it faced severe criticism from fans and movie buffs. From VFX to dialogues and characters, people bashed the movie left right and centre. With so much criticism, Adipurush didn’t do good business at the box office. Reacting to Adipurush failure, Kriti Sanon revealed that she was in tears with the movie’s outcome.

Speaking to Filmfare, she said, “You feel a deep sadness and might even find yourself in tears, wondering what went wrong”. The Crew actor then added, “The goal is never to hurt anyone’s feelings; the intention behind every project is always positive. However, we must face the reality that sometimes things just don’t click, and it’s crucial to learn from these experiences”. Sanon also mentioned that what an artist can do at that point is not lose focus and concentrate on the next project. She said that there are many variables beyond her control, but she strives to ensure that she fulfils her role to the best of her ability.

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush was a story on Ramayana. It starred Prabhas as Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan and Kriti Sanon as Goddess Sita. Sunny Singh as Lakshman, Devdutta Nage as Hanuman, Vatsal Seth, Sonal Chauhan were also a part of the movie.
