Krysten Ritter is joining the cast of Dexter: Resurrection! The 43-year-old Breaking Bad star has been announced as the latest addition to the Showtime series. She will play a guest star named “Mia.” No other details about the role are being revealed, via THR. Keep reading to find out more… The series sees Michael C. Hall returning to his role as Dexter Morgan from the original Dexter series, which launched on Showtime in 2006 and ran for eight seasons. Dexter: Resurrection is set to debut later this summer. Uma Thurman stars as Charley, returning star David Zayas plays Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott returns as Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine plays Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf is Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa stars as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez is Elsa Rivera and James Remar returns as Dexter’s father Harry Morgan, plus Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater. At the same time as the casting announcement, Uma, Krysten and Michael were spotted filming scenes for Dexter: Resurrection in Central Park on Monday (March 3) in New York City.
