In a recent shocking revelation, BRS Working President KTR has exposed corruption allegations against Congress leader Revanth Reddy in Telangana. KTR held a press meet at the BRS Party office in New Delhi to bring these allegations to light.
During the press meet, KTR revealed that Shoda Constructions, a company owned by Srujan Reddy, who is Revanth Reddy’s brother-in-law, was awarded a contract worth Rs.1137 crores. This is alarming as the company is relatively unknown and has a net profit of only Rs.2.2 crores. KTR accused the Chief Minister of Telangana of allowing an “office of profit” to exist.
A delegation of BRS leaders led by KTR met with Central Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to submit evidence of these allegations and requested action to be taken against Revanth Reddy. KTR criticized Prime Minister Modi for not taking any steps to address the corruption within the Congress-led government in Telangana. He called for concrete actions to be taken against Rahul and Revanth Reddy in order to curb corruption.
KTR challenged the BJP’s sincerity in addressing corruption, stating that this is a “litmus test” for their commitment to eradicating corruption within the Congress party. He warned that if the central government does not address the corruption allegations in the Amrit tenders during the parliamentary session, BRS will bring the issue to the forefront in Parliament, particularly in the Rajya Sabha.
Furthermore, KTR accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of misleading the people of Maharashtra with unfulfilled promises and misusing Telangana state government funds totaling Rs.300 crore to spread false information in Maharashtra.
KTR also brought attention to the issue of land acquisition in Kodangal, claiming that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is allegedly seizing land for a pharmaceutical company owned by his son-in-law. These allegations have raised serious concerns about corruption within the Congress-led government in Telangana.
