Rest in peace.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling shared the news that former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Kuniaki Kobayashi passed away at the age of 68 after a battle with illness. He had a legendary wrestling career dating back to 1973, and he wrestled for NJPW and AJPW, in addition to excursions to the United States that saw him compete for various promotions, including the WWF. He was also highly active in his involvement with the NJPW Dojo.
WrestleZone sends our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Kobayashi.
