WWE Hall of Famer has a lot of respect for his peers in professional wrestling and that includes Brock Lesnar, with whom he has a very close friendship. However, it appears Angle was accused of giving bad advice to Brock Lesnar in the past.

Brock Lesnar has squared off against numerous top WWE Superstars during his time in the company and that includes his high-profile feud with Kurt Angle. After all, their feud was the highlight for many back in 2003.

The Beast Incarnate experienced burnout during his initial WWE run. He has openly discussed frustration with the company’s demanding travel schedule in his autobiography. Lesnar initially requested to be released before WrestleMania XX, but Vince McMahon persuaded him to stay for the event, where he ultimately lost to Goldberg.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, WWE legend Jim Ross discussed Brock Lesnar’s exit, noting that Lesnar received “bad advice” from his peers during that time.

Well, he’s burned out. He’s burned out. He’s getting bad advice by some of his peers I believe.”

Jim Ross was asked if he knew who was giving “bad advice” to Brock Lesnar. He suggested the Minnesota contingent, possibly mentioning Mr. Perfect and Kurt Angle. Ross indicated that Angle might do it for the sake of amusement, knowing he could provoke anxiety and angst through subtle prodding as a rib.

“I would say the Minnesota contingent, may be Perfect, maybe Kurt. Kurt would do it just to be [inaudible] because he knew that he can get you, and to see somebody getting rolled up in anxiety and angst thanks to your prodding and your subtle positioning, was a rib.”

As mentioned earlier, The Beast Incarnate has been excluded from the WWE game. Additionally, he has been omitted from WWE Creative plans for the foreseeable future, and it remains unknown whether he will return to WWE. The future of Lesnar in the company is uncertain, and we will have to wait to see how the situation unfolds.
