Kurt Angle has been able to stretch his acting muscles a few times over his career. His comedic timing is beloved by fans all over. Now, he gets another chance to act a bit.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle revealed on his Kurt Angle Show podcast that he will be filming a movie soon with UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture.

The new project doesn’t have a confirmed date just yet, but he will be shooting this movie in the next six weeks or so. We will have to see how it all turns out, but Angle is excited.

“They haven’t decided a definite date yet, but it will be within the next six weeks. I have a movie I’m going to be shooting. It’s called The Ranch. Randy Couture is going to star in it with me. We’re going to be brothers.”

“It’s a movie about a ranch. Randy is a war hero and I’m the scumbag brother. I’m Mr. Red, White, and Blue. Why am I not the war hero? (he laughs). It’s a good movie. We’re working with Michael Tadross. If you don’t know who he is, look him up. You’ll see he’s a really big-time Hollywood producer. I’m excited about doing this with Randy. I haven’t done a major motion picture in eight or nine years, so this is really cool.”

Michael Tadross worked on movies like Indecent Proposal, Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Devil’s Advocate, Forrest Gump, The Firm, and Beverly Hills Cop III, among others. It seems that this new project has some very good experience on board, so we’re hoping for the best.

Kurt Angle left his career in the ring long behind him. This saddened pro wrestling fans when Baron Corbin beat him in his retirement match at WrestleMania, but he’s been busy since then, and it seems that he is getting even more opportunities.
