West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma was on the verge of leaving the Premier League club.
However, his move away from London to join Shabab Al-Ahli has taken a U-turn.
According to UAE Kick, the French defender’s contract was being renegotiated after he had earlier agreed to everything with the club.
There were complications with his medical and that resulted in the renegotiations due to his past injury history.
His contract was being altered after his injury came up in the medical but the player did not approve of it and since has returned to the UK without signing the contract.

Zouma is most likely heading out of the club this summer after the arrival of new manager Julen Lopetegui.
The Spaniard has signed Max Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo to be the leaders of his defense which means Zouma has no place in the side.
The defender has seen his form drastically drop in the last few seasons and his performances have been inconsistent.
Zouma is looking for a new chapter in his career and he was keen on a move to the Middle East but as things stand, it is highly unlikely to see him join Shabab Al-Alhi.
