Kvaratskhelia at Barça is no!

The left wing is one of the key positions that FC Barcelona want to address during the summer. Raphinha has held this position in recent weeks, while Joao Felix and Ferran Torres have also played there on occasion.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is one of the players with whom FC Barcelona is in contact.

The Georgian had a quieter 2023-24 season than 2022-23, but he is still considered one of the best left wingers in the world.

Kvaratskhelia will not go to Barça

He is currently in talks with Napoli for a new contract and, according to Sport, FC Barcelona believe that the links with Kvaratskhelia were maintained by his agent in order to gain leverage during the negotiations. This suggests that the Blaugrana are not considering a transfer this summer.

It makes sense that FC Barcelona’s interest in Kvaratskhelia is not greater than that, given that a deal would be highly unlikely anyway due to the club’s financial difficulties. He’s not really a realistic target.
