Kyle Richards, who is in the midst of separating from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky, admitted she has no idea how to live her life without him.

“I’ve been married almost my entire adult life,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 55, said on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live” Thursday. “I don’t even know what life is without being with Mauricio.

“It’s hard. It’s painful. It’s scary,” she said.

Richards added the situation is “really tough” for her because she feels like her “entire identity is being a wife and a mom.”

“I have four daughters, and they are my best friends, but he’s also my friend, and I do love him very much, and that’s what’s also hard,” she explained to Lewis.

During the interview, Richards confirmed reports from November that both she and Umansky, 53, are in therapy as they continue to deal with their separation.

She also reiterated that the pair are still living together but staying in different bedrooms.

Richards said she and Umansky had no problem spending time together with their daughters during their Aspen, Colo., vacation last month.

Speaking directly about their separation, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star added, “It’s hard. it’s painful. It’s scary.” Getty Images The estranged couple confirmed their separation in July 2023 but have asserted that divorce is not on the table. mumansky18/Instagram

“If you didn’t know us, you would think everything is normal … I’m making dinner, we’re together,” she explained.

She did not protest, however, when Lewis suggested she and the Agency founder could transition into more of a “loving, close, companionship friendship.”

When he brought up the possibility of staying together to avoid splitting up their assets, Richards replied that it isn’t something she is concerned about right now.

She said the couple “did not have a penny” when they began dating and then tied the knot in 1996.
