Kyle Richards Defends Buying 16-Year-Old Daughter a Porsche

Kyle Richards is responding to the critics.

Earlier this week, the 55-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky surprised their 16-year-old daughter Portia with her first car, a Porsche which is reportedly worth $90,000.

After revealing the gift, many criticized Kyle for giving her youngest daughter such an expensive car.

While stepping out in L.A. on Friday (June 21), Kyle was asked to respond to the criticism over the car.

Keep reading to find out more…Kyle told TMZ reporters that Portia “deserves the car,” and said that the car “wasn’t as expensive” as reported. However, Kyle did say she “understands” the criticism.

She also said that Portia is a “very good driver,” adding, “She’s a straight A student. She’s a good kid.”

When asked if she thinks her daughter deserves the car, Kyle answered, “I think so.”

Kyle then added that it was Mauricio‘s, 53, idea to get their daughter the Porsche.

“He works very hard and you can talk to him about [the car],” she said. “That was his purchase.”

Kyle also recently responded to Lisa Vanderpump‘s shady comments about her marriage.
