Criticized from all sides after his escapade in Sweden, Kylian Mbappé saw one of his teammates in the French team come to his aid.
It’s the deal of the week. Officially absent from the gathering ofFrench team for medical reasons according to Didier Deschamps, Kylian Mbappé, who played 70 minutes with Real Madrid just before the international break, made headlines again by going to a nightclub in Sweden during the Blues’ match against Israel ( 4-1).
If many observers have pointed the finger at the captain of the Blues following this episode, this controversy would not be a subject within the France group. Like Wesley Fofana, Mattéo Guendouzi assured this during his appearance in front of the press this Saturday.
Guendouzi flies to the aid of Mbappé
“For us, there is no doubt about Kylian. We spoke to him on the phone again before the match, explained the Lazio Rome midfielder in a press conference. He is someone who is attached to us, to the France team. We were all a little disappointed that he wasn’t there to help us in these two matches but there are reasons, he is not 100% fit, we all know that. But there is no question about Kylian’s desire with the France team.
“He is a player who loves his country, who loves this team and who will continue to help us bring it back to the highest level. We need to stop talking about it too much. We all know that you make a living from talking about him every day. He has days off, he does what he wants“, concluded Guendouzi.
