LA Knight currently holds a prominent position as one of the stars in WWE, experiencing a successful stint. Despite his achievements, he recognizes the unpredictable nature of professional wrestling, understanding that sustained success is never guaranteed. Additionally, he maintains a pragmatic outlook, expressing no disappointment about not receiving a title match at WrestleMania 40.

LA Knight has twice attempted to dethrone Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but despite his efforts, the 41-year-old has been unable to halt The Tribal Chief’s remarkable title reign. Moreover, Knight participated in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, aiming for a World Heavyweight Title opportunity at WrestleMania 40, only to be thwarted by interference from AJ Styles, resulting in a loss.

WWE’s resident Megastar issued direct challenge to Styles for a one-on-one encounter at WrestleMania 40, which Styles accepted. However, many fans felt he should have gotten a title match instead.

While speaking on the Busted Open podcast, LA Knight was asked to square off against AJ Styles at the Show of Shows. Knight made it clear he isn’t crying about not getting a title match.

Man, there’s so many different ways I can answer that. One of those and I guess in a certain way, appreciative. I guess in a certain way, also feeling vindicated and a certain way, feeling like it’s long overdue… I mean look, a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, it should be for a championship’ and should be this and should be that. Look man, it is what it is and you’re talking about a hell of a spot to be in and I’m not crying about it so…”

We will have to wait and see whether LA Knight will eventually become a champion this year, as fans truly want him to finally win championship gold and establish himself as a main roster star.
