LA Knight is one of the top stars in WWE right now and has had tons of learning experiences with many pro wrestlers, including even The Rock. He has also disclosed how his backstage interaction with The Rock went.
It’s not a secret that The Rock’s return to WWE has stirred excitement, not just for fans but also among current stars like LA Knight. The backstage interactions and discussions with The Rock have added an intriguing element to the wrestling landscape.
While speaking on the In The Kliq podcast, LA Knight talked about his backstage interaction with The Rock. LA Knight stated that it took place last year when The Rock came back on SmackDown. While the interaction was brief, it was a friendly and cordial one.
“A little bit here and there when he popped up at SmackDown back in Denver a few months ago, which was kind of the bro handshake and hug and, ‘Hey man, I haven’t seen you in a while; you’re kicking ass’ and all that kind of stuff. Nothing long form, and it was kind of when he was straight on his way to the ring, so it was one of those quick, ‘Hey, and I’ve got to get on my way’ kind of things.”
LA Knight also made it clear that he doesn’t care who ends up becoming the champion, as he will go after anyone under the sun no matter what.
”He’s going to bring attention to what we’re doing,” he said. “At the same time, it doesn’t make a bunch of difference to me whether it’s him, Roman Reigns, or Cody Rhodes, or anybody else; if anybody’s holding that championship then I’m gunning for them.”
Knight also vows to become champion someday. We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for LA Knight in the coming weeks. Fans would love for him to become a champion this year, more than anything.
