The challenger for LA Knight for his WWE United States Championship has been set in a brutal match tonight.
Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman went at it in a brutal brawl. The winner of their match would determine who would face off against Knight at WrestleMania 41, and it ended in the ultimate chaotic fashion.
Throughout the match, both superstars performed some major spots, including one where Strowman sent both men flying through the security barricade. Eventually, the match spilled out into the crowd, where Strowman and Fatu both went off a stack of road cases through a table.
In the end, the match made itself back into the ring, and Fatu ended things by putting Strowman through a table in the corner with a vicious hip attack. Both men were out, but Fatu got up just in time to avoid the countout. Strowman couldn’t, though, and the match ended with a Fatu win, and trip to WrestleMania.
