Facundo Pellistri has, slowly but surely, broken into the Manchester United first-team over the last 12 months but his opportunities have still been limited by the manager.
Erik ten Hag has preferred both Antony and Marcus Rashford on the right-hand flank over Pellistri and now, it is being reported that La Liga club Granada are on the verge of signing the Uruguay international.
That’s according to local outlet Granada Hoy, via Sport Witness, who say that Pellistri is set to join Granada on loan until the end of the season.
As per the report, a deal to bring Pellistri to La Liga is in the ‘final phase’ and could be concluded before the January transfer window closes next week.

It’s highly unlikely that United will be doing any business on the incomings front to cover for the loss of Pellistri as the young winger is already a rare fixture in the lineup.
United face Newport in the FA Cup later this weekend and all eyes will be on Ten Hag’s squad selection one hour before kick-off.
If Pellistri is named in the squad, the possibility of the winger sticking around for another six months should be considered. If he is left out, that could be a sign that something is moving in the background.
