Lady Gaga is sharing more details about Michael Polansky‘s proposal! During her October cover interview with Vogue, the 38-year-old Joker: Folie à Deux actress confirmed that Michael, 41, proposed to her back in April after a day of rock climbing. In a new interview on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show, which will air on Friday night (Sept. 27), Gaga explained why she first thought Michael‘s proposal was a joke. Keep reading to find out more…“He proposed on April 1 and I thought he was joking,” Gaga shared. As you know, April 1 is also known as April Fool’s Day. She then went on to discuss accidentally revealing her engagement news while at the 2024 Paris Olympics back in July. “Then when we went to the Olympics, we were filmed saying hello to the Prime Minister and I was caught on camera saying, ‘This is my fiance,” Gaga recalled saying to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. “I had wanted to keep it a secret!” Gaga insisted.
