Lady Gaga is teasing something new! After confirming that a “surprise project” was in the works in a recent Vogue interview, the “Die With a Smile” singer has begun launching promotional billboards in New York City and Los Angeles with the words: “LG6.5.” If you didn’t know, Gaga‘s sixth studio album was Chromatica, and her highly anticipated seventh studio album is set to kick off with a lead single in October, suggesting this is an “in-between project.” Keep reading to find out more… Fans have theorized based on teasers on Gaga’s Instagram that the project is linked to her new movie Joker: Folie à Deux, out on October 4. Gaga has launched what appear to be lyrical teases with song snippets for the past week, including “I’m ready for my interview,” “Don’t tell me what to wear,” “No duct tape, no mission,” and “Moon dust gets everywhere.” There are also fan accounts claiming that the snippet is from a song called “Happy Mistake,” and the secret project could be called Harlequin, related to the movie.
