Journalist Marcal Llorente has highlighted key differences between two of the brightest stars in Spanish football today: Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr.
The journalist, writing in Mundo Deportivo, says these two players, both immensely talented and often compared, exhibit contrasting attitudes on and off the pitch.

Yamal is also a testament to the success of La Masia, which has long been celebrated as one of the best football schools in the world, continuously producing top-tier talent.

Then there is Vinicius Jr.

Although he plays for one of the most successful clubs in the world, his tendency to provoke has not gone unnoticed, and this has tarnished his reputation.
It is essential to condemn the racist abuse Vinicius has been subjected to, as such behaviour has no place in football or society.
However, standing against racism does not mean one should ignore his provocative behaviour, which contributes to the negative perception many have of him.
His attitude, more than his footballing ability, is what stirs up hostility. Unfortunately, this has also impacted the way people view him and Real Madrid.
