This past Sunday night was very special and monumental for All Elite Wrestling. It was the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. It was the final match of WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Sting.
One of the other matches on the card was the All-Star Scramble to determine the new number one contender for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Initially, the All-Star Scramble was not on the cards for the event. It was supposed to be the first-ever Meat Madness match. The Murderhawk Monster Lance Archer, Wardlow, and Will Hobbs were all supposed to be a part of the match.
Less than a week before the pay-per-view, Tony Khan announced that there would be a major change in the card. Archer, Wardlow, and Hobbs were all part of the new match. The others in the All-Star Scramble were Chris Jericho, Brian Cage, Hook, Dante Martin, and CMLL’s Magnus.
When Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, Brian Cage, and the Murderhawk Monster were all face-to-face battling each other inside the ring, the fans went crazy. The entire arena was chanting “Meat, meat, meat.” After the match, Lance Archer took to Twitter to share a message to the fans. He mentioned that the fans were heard loud and clear. He deemed that the ‘Meat Madness’ was a necessary element for the Tony Khan-led promotion.
“We heard ya loud and clear Sunday at #AEWRevolution ?. MEAT MADNESS IS A NECESSARY ELEMENT for @AEW,” Lance Archer tweeted.

The Murderhawk Monster was very close to winning the match and earning a shot at the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, at the last minute, the self-proclaimed Mr. Mayhem Wardlow won the match by hitting the Powerbomb and pinning Dante Martin.
