Chelsea footballer Cole Palmer and Formula 1's Lando Norris are amongst the sports stars to have been recognised on the Sunday Times Young Power List.

2024's list included the likes of Bukayo Saka, Luke Littler, Jack Draper, Leah Williamson and Louis Rees-Zammit.

All 30 winners are from the UK and under the age of 30 and have been chosen by the editors at The Sunday Times.

They have all been interviewed exclusively for The Young Power List.

Hannah Swerling, The Sunday Times Commissioning Editor, said: “This year’s Young Power List showcases the incredible talent, resilience, and vision of young people across the UK.

"Their stories are a testament to what can be achieved with passion and purpose, and they remind us that age is no barrier to making a meaningful impact" she said.

Now, the 2025 list has been revealed and it includes some of sport's biggest young stars.

Cole Palmer

The Chelsea and England star had an electric debut season with the west London club last term, and his efforts have continued into this campaign.

Palmer has netted 14 goals in the top-flight and has assisted six more. Despite some recent loss of form, Palmer's presence in the squad has contributed to Chelsea's improved season.

Former club captain John Terry has also had high praise for the 22-year-old, suggesting that the game 'seems to be too easy' for Palmer at times and hailed his partnership with Blues striker Nicolas Jackson.

"He strolls through games a little bit, but he's so far ahead of everyone else in terms of the way he sees the game," Terry told talkSPORT.

"He always plays that forward pass. He's never looking for the simple one. I think him and [Nicolas] Jackson have a really good relationship as well.

"When you go to these games at the Bridge you can't help but just watch and follow him. The ball's at the other end of the pitch, and you're just watching his movement" Terry said.

Lando Norris

The 25-year-old Somerset-born racing driver boasts five Grand Prix wins and a second-place finish at last year's Drivers' Championship.

Norris became the youngest FIA Formula Three European Champion in 2017 and has since become one of Formula One's hottest talents.

He is currently atop the standings on 44 points for McLaren, with Max Verstappen and George Russell in second and third, respectively.

With the 2025 season having just begun last month, Norris opened it in style, clinching a victory at the Australian Open over Verstappen and Russell.

In China, Norris settled for second behind fellow teammate Oscar Piastri.

Harry Brook

England's ODI vice-captain, Brook, has established himself as the world's no.1 batsman.

The 25-year-old Yorkshire star made history with a triple century over Pakistan last year.

It marked the first triple hundred scored by an Englishman since 1995 and the fifth-highest individual score in English Test cricket history.

Brook has since been tipped to take over England's white-ball captaincy from Jos Buttler, who recently resigned from the role.

Immanuel Feyi-Waboso

Exeter Chiefs and England star Feyi-Waboso excels both on and off the rugby ground.

Having suffered a shoulder injury in February that required surgery, Feyi-Waboso was ruled out of the Six Nations and is likely to miss this summer's Lions Tour to Australia.

Despite the blow to England with the 22-year-old having scored five tries in his first eight Tests at international level, Feyi-Waboso has been an inspiration away from rugby too.

Alongside his rugby career, he is training to become a doctor in a bid to specialise in plastic surgery to help those with cleft lips and burns.

Always more of an academic than a sports star, Feyi-Waboso admitted he was a 'late-bloomer' to rugby, but moved from Aston University to Exeter in order to juggle both his career ambitions simultaneously.

Laviai and Lina Nielsen

The athletic twins won bronze together at the Paris Games, but their path to the Olympic stage has been far from plain sailing.

The twins, aged 28, both suffer with multiple sclerosis, known as MS, having been diagnosed in 2021.

Laviai was diagnosed some years after Lina, with the hereditary nature of the disease prompting her to be tested.

Both ran to third place in the 4 x 400m relay final at the Stade de France last summer, with Laviai picking up another bronze in the mixed event.

Lina continued her medal haul in Apeldoorn early this year, clinching European Indoor silver in the 4 x 400m and bronze in the mixed relay.
