The Lift Above Poverty Organisation has honoured 657 staff who have put in between 10 and 25 years of continuous service across the company’s ecosystem.
Also, 47 staff members were presented with performance-driven Best Staff Awards, which come with automatic promotion in recognition of their hard work and commitment to excellence.
The Chief Executive Officer of LAPO, Godwin Ehigiamusoe at the ceremony said the award is to recognise and celebrate the dedication, resilience, and exceptional contributions of the staff members.
He said, “At LAPO, we firmly believe that our people are our greatest asset. Our success over the years has been built on a strong foundation of dedicated and value-driven employees, who have embodied the core principles of integrity, innovation, excellence, customer-centricity, and social impact.
“It is this commitment to our core values that has ensured our resilience for over 30 years, enabling us to thrive despite economic challenges.
“This year, a total of 657 staff who have completed 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of continuous service across the LAPO ecosystem shall be honoured. Their unwavering commitment and loyalty to the organisation have been instrumental in our collective success.
“Additionally, 47 staff members will be presented with performance-driven Best Staff Awards, which come with automatic promotion in recognition of their hard work and commitment to excellence.
“Despite the fluctuating economic landscape, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to our employees. To our award recipients, I extend my heartfelt congratulations. Your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. Let this recognition serve as a motivation to continue striving for excellence and contributing to the mission of LAPO.
Also speaking, President of the LAPO Welfare Committee/Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Lilian Ehigiamusoe said the dedication and passion of the staff have been the driving force behind the company’s success.
She noted that the management remained committed to fostering an environment that encourages growth, rewards excellence, and promotes career advancement.
She stated, “This ceremony is a reflection of our deep appreciation for all those who have committed their time, energy, and expertise to LAPO’s progress.
