Hello everyone! On this Martes de Lucha, the CMLL had two women’s tag matches in their two shows.

The first match was a simple two out of three falls tag team match, all the way from the iconic Arena México, between India Sioux and Tabata versus Metálica and Candela.

The younger talents started the match. After an even technical performance, Metálica took Tabata out with a running missile drop kick, allowing India Sioux to enter the ring.

The four wrestlers eventually made it into the ring. After a back body drop on Metálica, they threw Candela onto her tag team partner with a plancha. Then intertwined the legs of las rudas to apply an innovative double boston crab to score the first fall.

Eventually, they were able to score the second fall with an Air Raid Crash onto the knees by Metálica while Candela channeled her inner Alicia Fox with a Northern Lights Suplex.

For the third fall, they were able to continue dominating double teaming against the babyfaces. This time both heels did a package neckbreaker for the win.

I loved the team of veterans and newer talents. I felt it was one of their better showings for Candela and Tabata. Clearly, all of them are very talented, but i feel they were able to showcase themselves without missing a beat.

Moving on onto the martes de glamour from the beautiful land of Guadalajara, we got a tag team match to determine the new CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship. Las Chicas Indomables (Lluvia and La Jarochita) face off Las Infernales (Dark Silueta and the reigning CMLL World Women’s Champion Zeuxis)

Ever since La Jarochita returned and reunited with her former tag partner Lluvia, las Chicas Indomables been going back and forth for the past weeks with Zeuxis, and after last week attack from Dark Silueta the match feels more personal than the norm for CMLL.

Dressed in red las Chicas Indomables proved why they are former national tag champions, giving them a fight, but after the double underhook lifting facebuster into the knees and a german suplex, Las Infernales were able to conquer, winning the vacant tag titles.

Congrats to the newly crowned tag champs! I wish they would have more title matches, since it seems that the champions rarely defend their championships or at least not as often as they do in other wrestling companies, i think they could do more with the talent of other companies like AEW and with their own. They have had a lot of options and opportunities to do so, nothenless the Amazonians deliver whenever they get the chance.
