Chelsea have been handed a boost with reports stating Paris Saint Germain won’t make a move for Victor Osimhen despite Goncalo Ramos’ injury.
The future of Osimhen looks like it will head right up to the final days of the window with Chelsea seemingly the favourites unless there are any potential suitors who are yet to show their hand.
The Nigerian is thought to have a release clause in his contract of around £113m which no suitors have been prepared to meet and it looks like Napoli will have to lower their demands if they are going to offload the Nigerian this summer.
PSG out of the race for Osimhen
Osimhen wants to leave Napoli and it’s likely a resolution will be reached, but it remains unclear where his next destination will be.
Chelsea have held talks with Napoli but are reportedly only interested in a loan deal, whilst there’s also interest from Saudi Arabia and PSG.
Osimhen is set to leave Napoli this summer but his next destination remains unclear.Osimhen is thought to have given a move to the French capital the green light but PSG and Napoli have been unable to come to an agreement.
It was thought that PSG could go back in for the striker after Ramos suffered an ankle injury which could rule him out for three months.
However, in a boost to Chelsea, French outlet L’equipe have reported that PSG have decided not to pursue a move for Osimhen even with Ramos sidelined.

This news would seemingly leave the Blues as the only contender for the Nigeria international, but they are yet to reach an agreement with Napoli or the player.
There had been talk of Osimhen being involved as part of the deal which would see Romelu Lukaku join Napoli, but Fabrizio Romano has reported that both deals are seen as separate with Lukaku getting closer to a return to Italy.
